Safety first. HSEQ performance underpins every aspect of Bulk Liquid Storage's operations — from Queensland terminals to Rotterdam and Singapore.
Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are core pillars of every operation we undertake — from coastal Queensland to Rotterdam and Singapore.
The health of our employees and the quality of our products have top priority. We maintain continuous awareness of hazardous situations in day-to-day work, with various measures in place to prevent hazardous situations — including maintaining the quality of customers' products.
BLS prioritises the safety of employees and third-party contractors throughout all processes. Permit-to-work controls, confined-space and hot-work management, and clear emergency response procedures are implemented across all terminal sites. All employees are industry-certified.
As a provider of logistics services with a tank terminal, we always take the environment into account. Environmental controls focus on spill prevention, secondary containment, waste management and responsible handling of hydrocarbons and chemicals, aligned with port policy.
We treat customers' products with the highest level of care and provide a diverse selection of processing options. Upon request, we assess and track product quality through laboratory sample testing in our facility, with a fully equipped workshop dedicated to maintaining storage tanks and infrastructure.
Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are core pillars of Bulk Liquid Storage's operating model. Operations are aligned with recognised industry practices for bulk liquid terminals and designed to support compliance with relevant Australian regulations and port requirements.
Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment is of paramount importance to BLS, alongside maintaining product quality. We take these responsibilities seriously, addressing the requirements of customers, government bodies and stakeholders. Recognising the natural environment as a key stakeholder motivates our sustainable practices.
As a result, HSEQ is fundamentally integrated into our everyday work. Our HSEQ policy is a cornerstone of the sustainability of our business and in the best interest of all stakeholders. Our systems, policies and procedures cover both routine and emergency operating conditions to effectively manage risks, threats and incidents.
Continuous improvement programs use incident reporting, audits and customer feedback to enhance HSEQ performance over time. As part of QUANTEM-Helios Investments Australia, it is our ambition to be closely involved in the bioeconomy in close cooperation with the region and in harmony with the port's policy.
